The Training Course “Acting in Diversity” in Odessa, Ukraine is jointly organized by Lithuanian, Dutch and Ukraine Youth NGOs with the aim to raise visibility and awareness of the Youth in Action Programme opportunities for the cooperation between EU and the “Eastern region”, and the improvement of the quality of these (future) projects.

The training is aiming to promote European integration and civic participation through qualitative European Youth projects. The 3 main focus areas of the training are:

·         To foster capacity building and innovation in the field of international Youth work.

·         To make the participants understand the diversity of organizational cultures and working mentalities within Europe.

·         To offer the participants advanced managerial skills for developing and implementing intercultural projects.

During this training, 24 participants from 6 different countries will be trained in the necessary skills for organizing high quality projects, meeting other partners, exchanging cultures and experiences, and promoting citizenship and participation. This training will last a week and will require a very active attitude from the participants and will be very intensive.
