EIDP

This training is aiming to educate new youth leaders that can promote Youth in Action and be in charge of exchanges all over Europe. During this training the participants will get an in view in the nature of an exchange and how to design one in terms on form, context, methods and administration. The project that will last for 8 days and have participation of 16 youthleaders from Denmark, Turkey, Romania and the Netherlands.
The partners have upon application obliged themselves to be active in development of future projects and have agreed to act as host and sending partner in future projects.

During the work the organizations have realized that one of the greatest limitations for the international activities is the lack of qualified youth-workers. As a youth-worker/youth leader on an exchange you need some special tools that are not included in the traditional educations in the youth clubs.

The youth leaders on exchanges need, beside of the pedagogical tools, also special tools to:
- Take active part of designing a program in the frame of youth in action.
- Design and implement activities that promote the intercultural understanding and integration.
- Design and implement an "European dimension" in the activities.
- Design and monitor a program for child security and protection.
- Make the activities visible.
